PUBLIC ART 

Murals executed in mixed media including spray paint, acrylic, oil paints, paint markers, charcoal and collaged found objects.

2023     “SW6PT: Lovers 6 (California Condor)”, Welling Court Mural Project, Astoria, Queens, NY. Invited to international street artist community-based murals. Public mural highlights a warm caring love between carrion-eating endangered bird species - California Condor people. Latest mural in my Bird War Tarot series.

2021     “Don’t Go Hungry / Grow Strong: Free Food / Comida Gratis”, Gowanus Community Fridge, Gowanus Dredgers Canoe Club, Brooklyn, NY. Commissioned to paint the Community Free Food Fridge that served as an essential food security resource after Covid19 lockdown. Mixed media mural painting shows an Egret person going from hungry to well fed on a 3-eyed fish sandwich, both animals having been found in the polluted Gowanus super fund canal site. Background depicts neighborhood landmarks.  

2019     “Eye Am Power / Establish Strength: Magician 1 & High Priestess 2 (Gundlach’s Hawk & Night Parrot), Grandscale Mural Project, Uptown Grand Central 125th Street, Harlem, NY. The sheer power of creativity shoots from the eyes of the magician hawk, and the high priestess parrot actually seizes a rainbow moon. Both bird species depicted while at the brink of extinction have very active and promising conservation efforts underway.

2018     “Become Ur Queen: Empress 3 (Royal Sunangel Hummingbird), Welling Court Mural Project, Astoria, Queens, NY. Public mural encourages and proclaims that you are ready to inhabit your true power. This empowering regal figure is crowned and emerges from a floating pyramid hatching a bloom from an egg. Includes a memorial for my daughter.

2017     “Treasure Ur Treasure: Magician 1 (Red Tailed Hawk)”, Bushwick Street Art Collective, Brooklyn, NY. This hawk pools magic from their own heart manifesting their power.

2017     “Beware: Be War”, Welling Court Mural Project, Astoria, Queens, NY. Invited to international street artist community-based murals. Public mural calls for strength during destructive times, and depicts four past, present and future cataclysms with dinosaurs, humans, future fluidic life and future bird people.

2016     “Bird War - ZomBird vs DieselBird”, Welling Court Mural Project, Astoria, Queens, NY. Public mural for peace depicting a future war amongst weaponized birds.

2016     “I See All”, Artscape, Baltimore, MD. Public pavement mural painted live during music event of a many-eyed peacock encouraging truth and honesty.

2014     “Bird War - Persevere”, Welling Court Mural Project, Astoria, Queens, NY. Public mural symbolizing perseverance featuring a ZomBird Zombie Bird.

2012     “Feed”, 5Pointz Aerosol Art Center, LIC, Queens (permanently closed). Public mural called for a creative community to rise up and fully express ourselves.

1998 - present   Various public and private mural commissions in New York and Detroit, MI.

1997     “Like a Phoenix We Rise”, West 106th Street Community Mural, New York, NY. Still viewable. Symbolic of neighborhood revitalization, a Phoenix rises up from the ashes. Designed by the artist, painted with clients recruited from local rehabilitative mental health and substance abuse service programs. Sponsored by twelve Manhattan Valley community group organizations. Unveiled in documentary “Muralist Noah Xifr” on WMNN with new street lighting to discourage drug trafficking.

ARTIST BOOKS / GRAPHIC NOVELS

2013, 2014       “PAIN FULL NESS 1 VOICE BOXED” - successfully funded second print run on Kickstarter with new book jacket design. A psychological thriller about the empowering process of working through PAIN towards self-expression. The story introduces five central symbolic anthropomorphic characters: The Key, Voice Box, Hurt Heart, The Voice, and the Community.

2001 - present   Director / Founder, Marketing Consultant, MOON MARKETING WORKS, Brooklyn, NY. Marketing consulting firm specializing in strategic planning for packaging design, social media marketing, lifestyle marketing, primary research, project management, branding strategy, graphic and web design.

2017     “Sir Bleach-a-lot”, Clorox Bleaching Artist, UMusic Experience, University of Ann Arbor. Consulted and instructed on the bleach design process to over 3000 students, corporate clients and musicians on-site. Inspired all event attendees to express themselves and make their own bleached designs on band t-shirts including galaxy effects, stenciling, and hand brushwork. Collaborated with Clorox R&D persona Dr. Laundry on t-shirt bleach dying process. Recruited by Clorox corporate, Universal Music Group, and Bravado to plan art station experience and supply inventory.
